Common Questions

How long does a consultation session last?
Standard sessions run 60 to 90 minutes. Extended 3-hour deep-dive sessions are available for larger or more complex projects. All sessions include a complimentary 30-minute follow-up call.
Can I do the consultation remotely?
Absolutely. We offer in-studio, on-site, and fully virtual sessions via video call. Our virtual consultations are identical in depth and quality — we use shared mood boards and live document collaboration to keep things interactive.
What should I bring or prepare?
We'll send a detailed questionnaire ahead of time. Beyond that, anything you find inspiring helps — photos, Pinterest boards, sketches, floor plans, or just a list of what's not working about your current space. Come with questions and an open mind.
Does the consultation fee apply toward a full project?
Yes. If you proceed with a full design engagement within 30 days of your consultation, the session fee is credited in full toward your project invoice.
How quickly can I book a session?
We typically have availability within 3 to 5 business days. Urgent bookings can often be accommodated with 48 hours' notice — contact the studio directly to check current availability.
Do you consult on projects outside your city?
Yes. We work with clients globally. For on-site visits outside New York, travel costs are agreed in advance and incorporated into the consultation fee. Many international clients opt for our virtual deep-dive format instead.
